The founders are Dr. Klaus Weyer and Prof. Dr. Günter Zimmer. Weyer is a founder of Elmos Semiconductor SE, former CEO and current member of the Supervisory Board of the Societas Europaea. Prof. Dr. Günter Zimmer is also a founder of Elmos Semiconductor SE and has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board for many years.
The foundation's board of directors consists of:
- Dr. Arne Schneider, CEO of Elmos Semiconductor SE
- Dr. Jan Dienstuhl, CSO of Elmos Semiconductor SE
- Walter Kuffner, formerly of Bayerische Motoren Werke AG
The financial basis of the foundation was provided by Dr. Klaus Weyer and Prof. Dr. Günter Zimmer. These funds are invested primarily in shares of Elmos Semiconductor SE in accordance with the statutes. The dividend yields are used for charitable purposes. In addition, the foundation is financially supported by an annual donation from the stock corporation.
